Magnify The Magnify lens fills the lens object with a variable zoom view from anywhere in a FreeHand document. This is useful for creating live insets or annotations of bitmapped or vector diagrams, infographics, and technical illustrations. Effects and Preset Styles Users moving projects into FreeHand from Illustrator also can leverage the swatches contained in their Illustrator documents. FreeHand automatically turns these swatches into graphic styles. Customization Users have widely varying preferences regarding buttons and button bars for shortcuts to commonly used functions. In FreeHand 8, users can specify which functions are represented as buttons by choosing File: Customize: Toolbars. Designers can remove, add, or reorder the buttons and fields on the main toolbar, the text bar, and the info bar. Design in Motion Suite The Design in Motion suite is targeted at customers who are looking for a complete solution for vector-based web design: FreeHand 8 for design, illustration, and multipage document creation Flash 3 for animation, interactivity, and sound, as well as file size optimization Insta.HTML 2 for easily exporting FreeHand pages as HTML pages. |
