Capture, Edit, and Compress
Broadway does it all. Grab footage from any source: VCR, camcorder, or stock video library. Then cut, paste, edit sound, add fades, and more. Broadway makes video editing one of the easiest things you'll do at your desktop. When you're done, compress to MPEG, or a streaming format, or output to videotape. There's no simpler, more affordable way to get high-quality video into your everyday applications.
1. Capture: Connect a VCR, camcorder, or any other video source to the
S-Video or composite input on the Broadway card. Full-motion video
and still frames are captured to your computer and stored on the hard drive.
2. Edit: Video and sound can be edited with special transitions and overlay
effects to maximize the overall video presentation. Use Broadway's included
editing software or select from many 3rd party packages such as Adobe
Premiere, Macromedia Director and Ulead Studio.
3. Compress: Broadway can compress your video when completed. This
way, you can save your video for portability and reduce usage of disk space.
Broadway even allows you to save video files in streaming formats such as Real
Video. This allows web surfers to view your videos instantly, without having to
wait for the entire file to download. |

Because Broadway includes video hardware, it can compress in real time. So a
one-minute clip takes one minute to compress. A software-only system could take up to 20 minutes or more to compress the same clip.
